Teleplan Globe Joins Latvian-Norwegian Defence Consortium for Integrated Unmanned Capability

A new Latvian-Norwegian defence partnership brings together leading expertise in unmanned systems, communications, payloads and command and control to deliver a network-enabled capability for European and allied forces.

The partnership was officially introduced at the FSi Exhibition in Lillestrøm and presented to Norway's Minister of Defence, Tore O. Sandvik.

The consortium combines the expertise of Teleplan Globe, DK UNITY Ltd (part of the DK NEJET Group), Radionor Communications and Nammo on a unified European platform designed to address urgent operational needs while strengthening Europe's long-term defence capability.

FACNAV UXS C2 at the Core

Recent conflicts, particularly in Ukraine, have demonstrated that operational success depends on more than unmanned platforms alone. The ability to connect sensors, communications, effectors and decision-makers into a single operational network is what creates combat effectiveness.

FACNAV UXS C2 serves as the digital backbone of the consortium. As Teleplan Globe's command-and-control system for unmanned operations, it provides operators with a single operational workspace for mission planning, navigation, sensor management and control of unmanned sensors and effectors across all domains. Target acquisition and target sharing are distributed directly across operational networks, while integration with digitally enabled fire support and close air support allows manned and unmanned assets to operate as a single force.

By connecting detection, decision and effect, FACNAV UXS C2 helps provide the situational awareness and speed required in modern operations.

A Unified European Capability

Within the partnership, DK UNITY / DK NEJET provides the unmanned platform, Radionor Communications delivers resilient communications, Nammo contributes payload solutions, and Teleplan Globe provides the command-and-control backbone through FACNAV UXS C2.

Together, the partners are combining Latvian engineering and Norwegian defence technology into a scalable capability that can be produced, sustained and further developed in Europe, always under human control.
