We were truly honoured to be part of a special occasion last week; the inaugural Norwegian Armed Forces Day, hosted by the Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
The event marked Norway's Liberation Day, and it was a meaningful one. Partners, allies, and colleagues from across the defence and security community came together to recognise the service and sacrifice of Norwegian and allied veterans, and to celebrate the transatlantic relationships that continue to underpin our shared security.
For us, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Norwegian Embassy, the defence attaché, and so many others working across the defence and security landscape in Washington. These kinds of gatherings matter, they're a reminder of what's possible when nations and organisations build trust and show up for each other over the long haul.
We left feeling genuinely grateful to have been included, and inspired by the people and stories we encountered. A big thank you to the Norwegian Embassy and everyone who made it happen, it was a privilege to be part of it.
