Teleplan Globe was pleased to participate at Army Summit 2025 in Oslo, an event jointly organized by the Norwegian Army and the Norwegian Atlantic Committee (DNAK). The summit gathered leading voices from defence, politics, and industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping security and defence in Europe today.

The Norwegian Minister of Defence, Mr. Tore O. Sandvik, opened the summit with a strategic perspective on Norway’s defence policy. He was followed by the Chief of the Norwegian Army, Major General Lars Lervik, who announced the launch of a new programme for drone systems. With a budget of NOK 1.5 billion over the next decade, the programme is designed to strengthen operational capabilities while fostering innovation. The initiative will foster innovation within all aspects of drone operations and be important to adapt the Army as well as the Norwegian industry to current and future needs.

The urgency behind such initiatives was underlined by the presence of Major General Hennadii Shapovalov, Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. He shared first-hand insights from the battlefield in Ukraine, highlighting the importance of agility and adaptability in modern warfare. His message was clear: underestimating Russia is not an option, and success depends on being faster and more innovative.

For Teleplan Globe, it was a privilege to take part in these discussions and to engage with partners and stakeholders across the defence sector. With an established presence in Ukraine, we are committed to helping translate operational needs from the battlefield into technological solutions that can support partners in addressing today’s challenges.
